War counter

"The new warrior job ability “Retaliation” has been introduced:
Retaliation
Allows you to counterattack but reduces movement speed."

Bit disappointing, counter should be monk only rly as it has been in many FF games, but if its available when subbing war and stacks with mnks counter and counterstance I'll be happy :3 btw how come mnks counterstance lowers def, but war get to have a counter ability and keep their def, as if any will actually care they cant move as fast :<

Be awesome for pld and nin if available as sub

ok i have been playing with it and basicaly its not going to allow you to tank realy its a case of the mob hits you and you hit him back its a nice bit of extra dmg output but it wont let you tank sadly good recast though and its like having one bit of dusk gear on you do how ever get TP from the hits

Here's something fun for the wars to try out having heard from other wars in-game, apparently if you /sam and use third-eye you can retaliate the attacks that you anticipate and get the TP from them as if you hit with the 2hded weapon, which is massive tp Very Happy

sounds pretty awesome if you ask me

Yeah, I tried WAR/SAM in dynamis last night, but didn't really notice any magnificent diffrence on my tp gain, not counter rate. Then again I was watching a movie as well. Razz

I didn't die once, and I got one due to evynd not wanting it. I got 196 exp. Cool

i got my First Proc in Limbus last nite was hot!
Frokes Retailates and scores a Crit hit Limbus mob takes 301 dmg XD
also used it to tank faf on 20th floor, proc'd twice at most lil dispointed tbh needs buffin in next update
